We have been in contact with the contractors assigned to build the new tram depot and will regularly keep you updated with the feed back we are getting.
Many residents had complained about the noise, (especially in the early hours) and also the dust from the building site. We have contacted the contractor regarding this matter and a copy of the correspondents is listed below.

25th September 2009,
Good Afternoon Mark
The owner of the Go-Kart track has informed me he will be coming to site on Saturday to retrieve his metal containers. He will be using a lorry fitted with a crane to lift the cabins. He has advised me this will take place around 12:00 noon to 1pm.
These works do not form part of our contract and as such are not under our control.
If you do receive any comments regarding this perhaps you could inform the members that the operation is not being carried out by ourselves and that we are not working 'out of agreed hours' on a Saturday.
Many Thanks

From Volkerfitzpatrick 20th October 2009,
To establish a relationship between ourselves and the residents local to the proposed Starr Gate Depot, we will be issuing a quarterly newsletter which, we hope, will inform you of the ongoing site activities. At the site itself, there will also be a notice board, updated monthly, on which information will be displayed regarding the plant and machinery on site, as well as any effect this will have on the local residents.
